Effective date: October 28, 2026
This policy explains what ieComfort, llc collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. ieComfort, llc is based at 63 Oakwood Ave, Montclair, NJ 07043.
What you send us
When you use the Get a plan form, you give us your name, your email address, the address of the building you are asking about, what is happening at the building, and anything else you choose to add. If you later email us documents such as a utility bill, an equipment list or screenshots of your building automation system, we receive those too.
We use this information to reply to you, to review the building you asked about, and to keep a record of the request and our answer. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
How the form reaches us
The form sends its contents to ieComfort by email. The website itself does not keep a separate database of form submissions. Messages are then held in our email system.
Who else sees it
The companies that host this website and deliver our email handle the information as part of providing those services. If a next step for your building involves a utility program, a lender or another firm, we will tell you first and share only what that step needs. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
What the site collects on its own
Like most websites, our web server records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time, to keep the site running and secure. The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address when a page loads.
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Security and caching software on our hosting may set technical cookies needed to protect and deliver the site. If we add analytics, or a cookie that remembers whether you are reading about New York or New Jersey, we will update this page first.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send us for as long as we need it to answer your request and keep a record of our work for your building. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@iecomfort.com. We will reply by email.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so please do not send passwords or payment details through the form or by email.
Children
This site is written for building owners and facility managers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update it on this page and change the effective date at the top.
